Sikh History VR Experience
Step into Sikh history through immersive virtual reality at Guru Nanak Darbar
This special 2-day event on April 18 and 19, 2026 is hosted by Guru Nanak School in partnership with VR Sikh Projects, whose mission is to bring Sikh history to life through immersive 3D storytelling
This event is designed to help the Sangat connect with Sikh history in a more immersive format. VR Sikh Projects describes its mission as using virtual reality to help people feel the power of Sikh heritage and make these experiences accessible to gurdwaras, schools, and communities.
Over two days, guests will be able to experience featured Sikh history scenes through guided VR stations hosted at Guru Nanak Darbar. The event is organized for community learning and family participation, with a combination of online reservations and walk-in access.

ਇਸ VR ਅਨੁਭਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਂਦਨੀ ਚੌਂਕ ੧੬੭੫ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਸੰਗੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਅਪਾਰ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

This experience focuses on the shaheedi of Bhai Subeg Singh Ji and Bhai Shahbaz Singh Ji in Lahore. Based on the attached project panel, it presents their steadfast refusal to abandon Sikhi despite persecution and suffering.
Through immersive VR storytelling, participants can better understand the strength, conviction, and spiritual resilience shown in this chapter of Sikh history. The experience is intended to support deeper education and remembrance in a format that is engaging and accessible.
ਇਹ VR ਅਨੁਭਵ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਦੇ ੧੭੪੫ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਭਾਈ ਸੁਬੇਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤ੍ਰ ਭਾਈ ਸ਼ਹਬਾਜ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੈਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਧਰਮ ਛੱਡਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਸੰਗਤ ਇੱਕ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਤਰਜ਼ ਦੇ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਟੱਲ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਾ, ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪੱਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ-ਰੂਹਾਨੀਅਤ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਡੂੰਘਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਹੇ।
Stations and booking
There will be 5 VR stations available during the event. 3 stations will be available for online booking, and 2 stations will be reserved for walk-in guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
Online booking is strongly recommended, especially for families and guests who want a preferred time. Bookings may be made as late as 30 minutes before the selected time slot, subject to availability
Age and consent
This VR experience is recommended for ages 8 and above.
Children under age 8 may participate only with parent or guardian consent, and parent or guardian consent is required for all participants under age 18

Book your station in advance to reduce wait time and secure your preferred slot. Three stations are available for online reservations, while two stations will remain open for walk-in guests. Please arrive 15 minutes early and attend only at your selected time. Bookings may be made up to 30 minutes in advance, subject to availability.
